What horoscope would the character consult if they wanted to find out what was in store for them? This article explores the character of represented as the Water Carrier.
The first article in this series explored the first air sign, Libra. Now it’s time to look at the Aquarian character in more detail and to help writers understand their motivations, their aspirations and their good and bad points. Characters born under the Aquarian sign will have their birthday somewhere between 20th January and the 18th February. Aquarius – OverviewAquarius is the eleventh sign of the zodiac and is represented by the water carrier. The element air represents the mind and a characters ability to think. Aquarian characters are therefore concerned with ideas, experimentation and analysis based on fact. Characters born under this sign will be able to generate many unusual and whacky ideas but once they have formed an idea, it tends to stick. Despite their scientific approach to things they can be friendly courteous, kind and tranquil. However, characters may suffer from a lack of confidence despite their intellectual ability. They can be mysterious and eccentric and are fiercely independent. Aquarians are less likely to conform than other characters and can sometimes come across as tactless and rude. Aquarius – Physical and Behavioural AttributesAquarian characters in general are often taller than the average, whether male or female. Indeed Aquarian males are attracted to the mysterious and unknown. Female characters too have a large bone structure with a long elegant neck. They are not fashion followers but always look stunning. The Aquarian woman will have a large circle of friends from all kinds of backgrounds and are very skilled at cooling arguments. However, they can often act very unpredictably much to the astonishment of friends and family. Generally, Aquarians like lots fresh air, sleep and regular exercise but often struggle to find the time to fit them in. The health of these characters might relate to the weather conditions suffering from being too hot, too cold and can suffer from circulatory problems. Aquarius – Likes and DislikesAll the star signs have some lucky elements assigned to their profile. Aquarian characters will prefer the colours violet and light yellow. A number of gemstones including onyx, topaz and sapphire represent their sign and their metal is lead. Their favourite animals are the peacock and the eagle and they prefer olive trees and aspen. Most Aquarians dislike too much emotion and intimate moments. This extends to people who like to show off. The do not like to be pinned down or being taken for granted. They are not extravagant or showy characters and they dislike any form of violence or fighting. Overall, Aquarians prefer to be recognised for their abilities and enjoy attention, despite their private nature. They embrace change with enthusiasm and love surprises. They often can be found telling people what to do as they watch over them. Aquarians are generally quite good with money and live within their means. They enjoy listening to music of all kinds, the arts and theatre and may keep a personal journal. Using the Zodiac to help develop characters can provide the writer with additional information, which shapes their behaviour and actions. The next article will cover Gemini.
